01What sectors does Techlight specialise in?
Techlight delivers commercial lighting packages for hospitality, residential towers, healthcare, education, infrastructure, government, retail, and mixed-use developments. Recent flagships include 5-star hotels (Mondrian, The Langham), luxury residential (Chevron One, Royale, Yves Mermaid Beach), healthcare (QEII Jubilee, Tweed Valley) and infrastructure (Gold Coast Airport, Merrimac Station).
02Do you supply your own brand of lights, or other manufacturers?
We do not sell our own product brand. Techlight coordinates supply from a network of 16+ established ISO9001-accredited manufacturers (CoLab, Mercator, Lampada, Domus, RAPID, ESP-I, Blue Sun Poles and others). This means recommendations are tied to specification reality — and warranties are backed by the original manufacturer, not by us.
03Are your products Australian standards compliant?
Yes. Every product we supply meets the relevant AS/NZS Australian standards, with the required compliance, approvals, and electrical safety certifications already in place. Compliance documentation is available on request for any package we deliver.
04What warranty is provided on the lighting you supply?
All products carry a minimum 5-year manufacturer warranty as standard, with many lines extending up to 10 years. Warranty is provided directly by the manufacturer, supported locally by Techlight for spare-parts coordination and 24/7 site-support capability.
05Where do you deliver, and is there a minimum project size?
Delivery is nationwide across Australia from our Chermside Brisbane HQ, with an active project history across Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide. We also have international heritage across Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines. There is no fixed minimum — but the model works best on commercial project work where specification, compliance and warranty backing are non-negotiable.
06Is Techlight related to Techlight New Zealand or other Techlight companies overseas?
No. Techlight is an Australian company, established in Brisbane in 1999, and is not affiliated with Techlight New Zealand or any other similarly named companies in other countries. We are an independent Australian business with our own supplier network, project portfolio, and Australian operations based in Chermside, Queensland.
07When is the best time in a project to bring Techlight in?
Earlier than most teams expect. Our strongest value typically lands during specification and design development — when product families, substitutions and supplier pathways can still be shaped commercially. We work alongside consultants, electrical contractors and project managers right through to procurement, delivery and site handover.
